Blog menjadi jati diri seseorang yang bisa kita lihat apa yang akan dilakukannya terhadap blognya sendiri.Misalnya seseorang yang mempunyai hoby menulis akan memenuhi halaman blog ataupun tampilan blognya dengan penuh tulisan yang dia buat.Seorang yang memiliki ataupun berkeinginan berbisnis,blog menjadi sesuatu areanya untuk merintis dunia bisnisnya.Blog dapat menjadi alat marketing yang unik dan ampuh, karena kita dapat melakukan pendekatan secara personal dengan calon konsumen, sehingga hubungan antara kita dengan calon konsumen dapat lebih dekat, sehingga dapat berpengaruh pada meningkatnya jumlah penjualan atas produk atau jasa yang kita tawarkan.Atau orang yang yang intens dengan dunia sosial maka blog menjadi suatu arena untuk mengedepankan dunia sosial.Jadi blog singkat kata menjadi ekspresi diri dan pikiran-pikiran yang ingin kita tuangkan kepada khayalak /audiens blog kita.Blog sebagai lat untuk membranding diri kita kepada orang lain yang menjadi stakeholder dalam blog kita.Diri kita akan semakin”Mahal” dan berkualitas tinggi apabila isi blog yang kita kelola memilki nilai jual tinggi kepada para audiens
