Ramos jadi tumbal kemenangan telak El Real atas Savilla pada lanjutan La Liga akhir pekan kemarin. Dalam laga yang dimenangkan Madrid dengan skor 6-2 tersebut, Ramos diketahui bermain penuh selama 90 menit. Namun, usai pertandingan bek 25 tahun ini mengeluhkan sakit pada bagian pahanya.
Setelah menjalani pemeriksaan pada Minggu, kemarin, Ramos divonis mengalami kejang otot paha. Sebagaimana dikutip Yahoosports, Senin (19/12/2011), bek berambut gondrong ini pun harus menepi selama beberapa pekan.
Kondisi ini memaksa Ramos hanya jadi penonton saat Madrid menjamu klub divisi tiga, Ponferradina pada leg kedua babak 32 besar Copa Del Rey, Rabu (21/12/2011). Namun, dengan jeda libur Natal dan Tahun Baru yang lumayan panjang, Ramos diperkirakan sudah bisa kembali ke skuad saat Liga kembali begulir, awal Januari mendatang.
Sebelumnya, Ramos sempat berkicau melalui status akun twitternya yang berisi harapannya untuk “pulih secepatnya”.
